New England Garden Clubs Fall Meeting

The NEGC Fall Meeting was held on October 10-11, 2023 in historic Plymouth Rock, MA at the 1620 Hotel and Conference Center.

One hundred and thirty (130) garden clubs throughout the six (6) states was in attendance – Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

Vermont was represented by: Pat Cherry (The Garden Club of Manchester), Jo Fretz (Rutland Garden Club) Barbara Gaida (The Burlington Garden Club), Susan Hinkel (The Garden Club of Manchester), Linda Lane (Burlington Garden Club), Doris Van Mullen (President FGCV).

With magical excitement – the FGCV received two (2) awards:

Fall 2023 Awards – New England Garden Clubs Jeanne Marie Parkes Award for an individual club is presented to Burlington Garden Club for an individual club is presented to Burlington Garden Club, Federated Garden Clubs of Vermont for their timely poster exhibit at the 2023 Vermont Flower Show - Out of Hibernation: The Magic of Pooh at their show “Spring Comes to 100-Wood”.
