Highlights from the FGCV Annual Meeting
At the June 9th FGCV Annual Meeting held at the St Albans Museum, club members were recognized for exceptional club performance, innovative thinking projects, service milestones, leadership contributions and exceptional dedication to achieving club, state, and national mission goals.


Floral Designs – “Classic Meets Creative”
My design methodology integrates traditional and innovative floral concepts. Participants will gain insight into conditioning techniques, sustainable mechanics, and the principles and elements of floral design. Please bring a notepad; the session promises to be engaging, and you will depart with substantial material for further reflection as you develop your own floral designs.


Federated Garden Clubs of Vermont Announces 2026 Smokey Bear Poster Contest State Winner
A third-grade student at Orchard School in South Burlington has received top honors in the state's Smokey Bear/Woodsy Owl Poster Contest, entitled "Only You Can Prevent Wildfires: Lend a Hand, Care for the Land."


2025 Fall FGCV Fall Meeting Wrap-up from Martha Dale, FGCV President
The Fall FGCV Fall Meeting was recently held at the Manchester Country Club in Manchester, VT, on October 7th, hosted by the Southern District Clubs of Arlington, Bennington, Brattleboro, Manchester, and the Green Mountain Gardeners, and coordinated by Donna Davis, Southern District Director.
