Gardening Tips
Start seed indoors to try new and interesting varieties of flowers and vegetables. Sow seeds directly into a tray they will grow in until they are ready for the garden. This will allow the plant’s root ball to remain intact, establishing a sturdier plant to transfer to your garden.
To prevent slugs and snails from becoming pest in your garden, line the garden with copper strips or wire mesh. The charge that builds up on the copper surface repels both pests away from the garden.
